Heat and Light Ltd has been set up to commercialise research associated with Dr Sam Lowrey's work at Otago University.  The current focus is on improved dehumidifiers, heat pump clothes driers, and Evanescent Near-Field Optical Lithography (with Richard Blaikie).

Directors are Sam Lowrey, Gerry Carrington and Simon Arnold.
